Collin College students who meet the UNT transfer admissions requirements upon completion of 15 or more transferable semester credit hours and eligible to return to Collin College are assured admission to UNT. To enroll in classes at UNT, complete and submit (by UNT's admission deadline) the TRANSFER Texas Common Application (
www.applytexas.org
) and submit all official academic credentials required for admissions to UNT.
Students transferring directly from Collin College to UNT shall have the same choice of catalog designating degree requirements as they would have had if the date of attendance at the university had been the same as the dates of attendance at Collin College. All requirements of the chosen catalog must be met within eight years of that catalog's publication.
FERPA Statement:
Under Federal legislation, namely the Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA) of 1974, I understand that my educational records cannot be released without my written permission. I authorize the release of my academic records from Collin College to UNT, and the release of my academic records from the UNT to Collin College, in order to share student data information between the two institutions without the violation of FERPA. I understand that I do have the right to rescind this release agreement of my academic records, once a UNT student.
